WIND NEWS BRIEFS:
Many of you know that I have met with WIND members for the last two Thursdays
in small focus groups. I have had a wonderful time doing this, enjoying
both fellowship with the members and learning much in the process. I
received several superb suggestions about ways to improve WIND South
one of which I discuss below.
One major issue that resonated with many in the focus groups was that networking process at the tables needs improvement. Oftentimes tables are slow to start, they become overcrowded and frequently they are poorly run. At some tables people digress and go on too long while other networkers get little time at all.
Here are the suggestions: to improve the networking process
There were other suggestions which I won't elaborate on here but discuss
at some future time. I will begin to implement these suggestions over
the next two weeks. Let me know how you like them.
No Workshops currently scheduled.

All WIND Members and Colleagues: Cliff Hakim's book is a must-read. Cliff is an
inspiring author and human being, and the time for his main premise was
never more right than now. Below is a great opportunity to meet the author.
"Cliff
Hakim's We Are All Self-Employed is graced with compelling and persuasive
examples that demonstrate the 'hows' of integrating a self-employed attitude
into a current job search, or a career transition."

Career Paths and How We Can Reclaim Them
